This day. Chrifttian Amenities. Dissensions have arisen between the members of the Presbyterian congregation here. The Rev.Mr Hay sentin his resignation to the Presbytery, but the Presbytery decided to accept it, and declared the pastorship vacant They also invited the Rev. Westbrook to conduct services. Yesterday Mr Hay's supporters, who form the largest portion of the congrega« tion, assembled in the morning, and. prevented Mr Westbrook from entering the Church. He then essayed to read an edict on the door-step, but was pushed into the street, and a man named Grarvin, belonging to the smaller party, who bad endeavored to enter the Church by a trap , door, and was found, was kicked into the
street. The Church owes Hay £73 stipend.
