This day.

The camp was shifted at Parihaka yesterday. Eoad work will soon be commenced. The men stationed here have already began between Parapara and Parihaka. It is stated that they are to have Is per day on the road, and as the duty is not heavy the monthly cheque will be considerably increased. Officers get 2s 6d per diem. Several recruits have already got tired of the force, and have put in for their discbarges and got them.
