This day. A Close Shave. A man named Weiningen after being out shooting rabbits, was sitting in a house with his gun at half cock between his knees when it went off, blowing away a portion of bis -upper lip and nose. He is expected to recover. Spiritualism in High. Places. ltev Allan Webb, Baptist Minister, preaching on spiritualism, declared bis belief that the phenomena were genuine, but attributed them to derilism ! Two publicans were fined to-day for selling liquor on Sunday.
