Medical j»irl for tlio next four vceke. This doctor gaid tho bono wns dißcaerd, and a piece would liuvc to t'omti out before the log would get woli. But duriu;; tho four weeks treatment oi Dr Uoyd, tho U'f? wns {-rowing worse and the child ainlritig. I hi.-! heard in tho meuntimoof the Euculypti Ji'xtroct working some wondcrlul cures, and at the end of tho period mentioned I obtninod 11 bottle of tho extract, and first used it on Monday, tho 10th December. Iho doctor's visits then ceased, the child being in 11 very low condition, and I gave my little girl three drops each night and morning, and also applied it to tho purt affected, for two weeks, ut the end of which time I was exceedingly pleased to find ahe had bo much improved ne to be able to run about. I regurd tho cure effected by the extract aB Bimply marvellous, and I have bei n recommending tho latter to my friends who aro suffering." From the JJendir/o Evening News. Howard Pluee, March 11th, 1878. Messrs Sander and Sons—l have much \ pleaouro in testifying to tho proved excellence of your Eucalypti Kxtract. lror seven weeks I suffered intense paiu from a sprained ankle > (which had swollen much), aod could get no relief, although I was under medical treatment, till at last I purclosed a bottle of your ex» tract, uud after using three bottles full, my ankle was completely cured. I would now recommend all pereons suffering similarly to try yonr Eucalyptus Extract, as I can assure them it is a euro cure.—Edward Gibson. To the Editor of the Noivcastfo Morning ' Herald and Miners 1 Advocate. March 18th. Bir,-—Having suffered from a bud wound in tho leg for a long titne, I tried eoveral remedies, none of which bad the desired effect; and, as a forlorn hope, tried « bottle of the "Eucalypti," and I am happy to have tho opportunity of bearing record to its efficacy ; although having used but one small bottle, the •wound is now healed. You are at liberty to give publicity to tho above, as I believe the knowledge of this fine medicine cannot be too well known. —William Hums, Wallsend. From the Coolciown Courier. February 23rd, 1878. We have received tho following testimony in favor of tho new curative agent, from our correspondent at Porfc Douglas:—-" The Eucalypti preparation is being experimented with here, and tbs few bottleß that have been disposed of, prove all that has been written with regard to the efficacy of this discovery. A person whilst performing his daily duties in ono of our stores, happened to tread on a rusty nail, which so inconvenienced him for some days, that ho could neither put lub foot to tho ground or wear a boot—the part being so painful. He was pursuaded to try this new preparation, and upon applying the liquid twice, immense relief was booh experienced, and the person referred to is now able to walk about aa if nothing had happened to him. This camo wilhin my own observation, therefore'l can vouch for the truth of thi3 assertion." Case of Swelling. In November, 1877, the wife of Mr Fickel Ironbnrk suffered in tho bend of the knee from a swelling, which hud formed a lump of considerable size, disabling her from attending to any work. Sho removed tbe swelling completely by a continued application of the extract. ITS CLAIM AS A CURATIVE. It has now become the fashion with the inventors or discoverers of remedial agents to claim somethiug little short of infallibility and univereality of euro for their respective agents. Messrs Sander and Sans do nothing of the sort. They havo confidence that their oil possesses many virtues; but the full extent of these they do not know yet. They are now collecting dala, and they are most careful aud searching in performing this. It is quite cure then, that their eucalypti oil can fairly assert itself to be a grand panacea for many of the ills that flosh is heir to. In Scarlet, Typhoid, or any case of Fever, noibing will protect better against contagion than a few drops of the oil poured in the palm of the hand, and rubbed in, in order to liberate the vapors, or sprinkled over the clothes. The perfume will be noticed for a great length of time. For Children Attending Schools, the same mode may be adopted. In Cases of Sickness, a few drops put into a eaucer, and put into the room will, being an etheric oil, evaporate, and fill the room with tho purifying v.aper. Are you obliged to Travel! A few drops occasionally rubbed on the body, will protect against any contagion you may be exposed to, in coming in direct contact 'with sick persons, or in sleeping in the same room with, or in beds occupied previously by eick persons. All Sotelkeepers will do well to sprinkle from time to time in drawers, "where liven is usually kept, & few drops of tho pure essential oil. It produces no spots whatever, as every particle of it evaporates, and nothing remains. In short, where a disinfectant is needed, the pure essential ecualypti oil ought to be tbe ono you have recourse to, and no family ought to be without it. For all Wounds^ Cuts, Burns, Scoldings, Ulcers, and Cancerous Wounds, a piece of liven wrapped round tho suffering part, and moiateiied with a few drops of tho eucalypti eaeence*, will slop all pain, and effect a speedy cure. In cases where a piece of linen cannot bo applied, the moistening of tho suffering purt. vnt,h the pure oil will do as well. In Case of Colds moisten the nostrils with a few drops and iohale tho vapour, and you will feel the immediate relief, aud entire riddance of tho heat. In all cases where the Lungs may be Affected, the above-mentioned process, continually repeated, will bo the best that can be advised. In cases of Rheumatism, a mixture of one part of the pure essential eucalypti oil with three parisof spirits oi wine, wollrubbed in the suffering part, has acted bettor than any other remedy. In all cases of Inflammation, the ©il may be applied to the part affected. In severe cases of 2'oothache of rheumatic origini the pure essence may be applied on the external part of the face. In cases of Inflammation of tlie Eyes, apply tho pure oil to the outside of the eyelids. Headache and Rheumatic Pains in tho Head are positively removed aud cured by rubbing the oil on tho affected parts. For many Cases of Severe Bruises the oil ha 3 proved tho bast remedy. Inwardly used, take three or four drops in half a tumbler of water. Tho essence effects a most surprising change of the whole eonstkution, correcting indigestion, and creating a healthy appetite. <255"1S To other essence is genuine except that in the vials bearing on the labels our signature and trade mark.
