The Odd Fellows I 'Anniversary, which was celebrated by a, procesiion to Tararu, in full regalia, and a programme of sports there. The steamer came down from Auckland at early morning, and, to save the necessity of going up a.nd^down^the creek, landed her^cjargb.ait' th;e Sopas Wharf. On going from this wharf to Curtis', this morning, some slight casualty occurred. The paddle wheel stopped, and while one of the hands was examining this with a fiew to discover the cause, the engines were'suddenly started;" /^To Jav^e higiselfr from: being JcnpckedjMovjjb By jihejtaajtij pf'th'e'paddle, the' man plunged into the water. He was picked up unhurt, and but for the delay no damage was done. At Grahamstown Wharf the Enterprise embarked the Thames Cricketers and about 50 or 60 others for Coromandel. The former Bad arranged;.-'t& play a match with the Coromandel Club, and went down to fulfil their engagement. They also went prepared to give the Coromaadel people a taste of their quality -.-as,, disciples of the Sock and Buskin, as well as Knights of the Willow, intending this evening to produce Robertson's comedy of "Caste."
