Machinery including clutch and spur gearing at the mine to-day. The-manager expects to have the battery in working order by the end of October. Main drive in 2J5 feet, about 95 feet further to go before cutting stone. The Golden Point tributers are getting out first-class crushing dirt j they expect 40 tons ready to send through tho about Kapanga battery. Emily.—A fair show of gold on the plates to-day. City of Auckland.—The crushing- is likely to be finished to-morrow. Whangapoua.—-Albatross sailed to-day, Fanny expected to arrive this evening.
