Mr Acland moved, " That it is desirable, in order that the Statute Book may not be encumbered with Acts of purely local importance, that such Acts should be entered in a separate collection termed ' local and personal,' as is the case with such Acts when passed by the Imperial Parliament; that the Government be requested to take this matter into consideration before the next meeting of Parliament." —Carried.
