This once promising company has^^Mp. to grief; after expending a large f Jo^|r "' of money in the execution of what will yet prove a key to a * large,- portion of country abutting on the north side of the Moanatairi Creek, and realising a dividend upon former operations. The property has been sold at auction for £160, and purchased for the Alburnia company, who, no doubt, will realise upon the labors of their predecessors, adding considerably to the extent of their resources, and afford easy means of forming deep levels on their property.
