A* MiMiKK for a LICENSE to construct?a Water Rnco for mining purposes, commencing at a point on- tho Tairua River in the Tairua Extension of the Hauralci Gold Mining District, situate at about half-a-mile above the junction of a r.v^r known as the Katarere River with the said Tairua River, and terminating at a point on the Tuirua Block, situate about three miles north-oast; from the sile of the claim registered as the Tairua Claim. Tho length, of t>o Race is oight aii'ea or thereabout?, arid its intended course is north-westerly from the point of commencement. The moan breadth and depth cf such Race is 6 feet by 4 feet, and it is capable of carrying five eluiceheuds of witcr, and the number of sluice-ktads of water of forty inches each which it is intended to appropriate is five, and the land required for the said Baco is sixty six feet on each fide of the centre of the said Race. NOTICE is therefore given that on the 3rd day of August, 1875, a License will be granted to the snid J. A. Miller for tho above-dee-rribed Water Race, unleßs valid objection be in the meantime made in wiitir.g and lodged at this office not loss than eeven clear days before that dn'o." W.
