Claim." The length of such Race is eight miles or thereabout j, and its intended course is northwesterly from the point of commencement. Macdokaid for a LICENSE to construct a Water Race for mining purposes, commencing at a point on the Tairua River,; in the Tairua extention of the Hauraki Geld Mining District, situated at about half a mile above the junction of a river known as the Katerere River with the said Tairua River, and terminating at a point on the Tairua Block, situate about three miles north-east from the site of a claim registered as the Tairua Glxim. The length of such Race is eight miles or thereabouts, and its intended course is north-westerly frem tho point of commencement. The mean breadth and dep'.h of such Race is six feet by four feet, and it is capable of carrying twenty sluiceheads of water, ar.d the number of sluice heads of water of forty inches each which it: is in'endcd to appropriate is twenty, and the land required for the said Race is »ixty feet on each side of the centre of the said Race.
