PUMPING ASSOCIATION.
The water is being kept under contral with the. present pumping arrangements, and the manager is now actively employing his men in lowering down the 18 inch lift. Sinking will shortly be resumed, tenders having been called for that purpose, and we may hope shortly to see the Association's works in full swing, a rather different," but at the same time a more favorable condition of affairs than that which was expected while the uncertainty with respect to funds prevailed.
