RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT
THIS DAY. (Before J. Kilgour and E. W. Puckey, Esqs., J.P.s) DBUNKENNESS. One person was fined in the usual penalty for this offence. ASSAULT. . Taituha; a Maori, was charged on warrant with having assaulted Charles Eowley atHikutaia in October last. Defendant was remanded till next Saturday, 6th February—bail being taken for his appearance on that day. The Court adjourned.
