MINING ACCIDENT.

An unfortunate circumstance happened yesterday to a miner in the employ of the Queen of Beauty Company. John Moore was, with others, working to clear away some loose stuff with the view of timbering, when a parb of the wall —a good sized crag that had been standing out for some days—fell suddenly, and Moore was the victim of its fail. He has a nasty cut on the head, though when our reporter this morning visited the Hospital made very light of it, saying he could only feel a slight cut. It appears that the stone from which Moore received the wound fell in the first place upon the shoulder of another whence it fell upon Moore's head. It is most., fortunate;'"'that', he escaped a more severe hurt. He is much better this morning, and does not expect to be detained a patient long.
