MEETING OF THE BOARD OF HEALTH.

A meeting of the Board of Health was held this afternoon for the purpose of considering measures for checking the spread of infectious diseases, and with reference to the present case of measles particularly. There were present—His Worship the Mayor (Chairman), and Messrs Anthony, Ehrenfried, Macnab, and Wilson.

The minutes of the special meeting were read.

Some discussion ensued, and it was desired to communicate with the Central Board of Health for guidance, and for power to act in the matter of isolation in case of emergency. A committee was appointed to select a site for a house, and the meeting adjourned.
