MISS MAY HOWARD,

The talented American actress will appear at the Academy of Music this evening, the first of a short season of two nights, in some of her favourite impersonations. Miss Howard will be supported by Mr W. G. Collier, who is an old Thames favourite, and a very good actor. The programme of the night is published elsewhere, and comprises some very choice pieces, namely—to open with the pleasing comedy " A Happy Pair,'' which will be followed by the third and fourth acts of " East L:nne," the whole to conclude with a mirth-inspiring farce. The drama has not been represented on the Thames for some considerable time, so a large attendance may be looked for at the Academy to-night.
