Cobomxndel, This day. The Tokatea banked 183 ounces of gold. The Tokatea directors likely declare a dividend at the meeting now being held. The manager's report for the week is satisfactory.
In the Boyal Oak there is very little special change. Bismarck lode, Van level, is looking rery healthy. Mr [Robinson who has been engaged at Whakaroa Battery for Tokatea Company for last 18 months, and who has given general satisfaction, goes on Monday to take charge of the Plutus Battery, Waikoromiko.
A settler Darned Irvine Armstrong had a narrow escape of being killed by his own horse.
It is reported that the National Bank has faken possession of Bemnett's battery. The Harbor View tributers are crushing at the Nil Desperandum battery. The Tokatea has declared a dividend of two shillings and sixpence.
