Siie,—-Allow me state, in reply to the insinuations of. an anonymous . writer in the Advertiser, that to the best of my' knowledge no member of the Hospital Committeo knew anything about the letter which appeared in thb Star signed "' " Humanitatis," or the steps I intended taking, with the exception of Mr. Eenihaw, to whom I mentioned the matter as wo went to the meeting.
