ACCIDENT AT THE HAPE CREEK BRIDGE.
Mr. Watson, contractor for the build-* ing of the Hape Creek Bridge, met with a nasty accident this morning. " He was standing near the pile driver holding- a stay in the shape of a piece of wood. When the "monkey" fell it drove the wood with great violence against Mr. Watson's thigh, inflicting a frightful bruise? No bones were, broken, but the injury necessitated Mr. Watson's rtmoval to his house in a cab. c '
