The length of inch Race is sixteen hundred and fifty feet or thereabouts, and its intended course is westerly. The mean breadth and depth of such Eace is three feet by twenty inches j it is capable of carrying Seven sluice-heads of "water, and tho number of sluice-heads of forty inches which it is proposed to appropriato is Five. .
