COEONEE'S INQUEST.-

Last , night the ( body :of,.^a; female was brought over to. Grahamstdwn from the Miranda sido^ of the gulf for tho purpose of an inquest beinj held. The deceased, whose name was Catherine McCoy, was forty-four years of age, aod house servant |to Patrick Farrell. She was from Scotland, and had no friends in the colony. She complained of pains in her stomach. I told her to 'take pit' her, boots and.warm laer feet. When she stooped down to take off her boots she, fell down sideways, , towards where 1! was sitting, and never spoke. Applied hot damp cloths to. deceased's stomach, but she never revived. She gavg a weakly moan aEd died. .. ; ,;-r. r ' In answer to a juror, witness stated that he had called in a neighbor. Deceased was about 44 or 45 yUars of age, a native of Scotland, and had no friends in the, colony. Her brother had died suddenly. ' Thomas Vining, the neighbor of last witness was called, and deposed to having seen deceased after death. Deceased and Farrell were-on good terms.
