The tributers are making steady headway in the part of the mine let. them, and have out a parcel of about 20 tons of stone in which gold has been frequently seen; and good hopes are entertained; that highly payable results will attend the crushing. Tributers on the Thames have unearthed many'ounces of gold that would not have'p-iid had their efforts been attended with costly management and supervision. Many lodes on the Thames are being worked on tribute that would never pay a company to work in the ordinary manner; the men working seem to have a zest for their work, and take very good care that the stuff is \v< 1!
