A great deal, of the country gone through has been particularly hard and tough,, but the present working is easier, without water, and'a-good supply ;of air conducted through pipes. The battery is employed in crushing stuff for. the Quc.-n of Beauty Company, and as there is now plenty of water in the creek, will no doubt be kept constantly employed.
