MANY VISITORS TO BETHLEHEM

Birth Of Christ Re-enacted (6.30 p.m.) LONDON, Dec. 24. Thousands of visitors have arrived at Bethlehem for the celebration of the Birthday of Christ, says the correspondent of the Associated American Press. Services have been arranged at St. Catherine’s and the adjoining Church of the Nativity. Masses were said in the Grotto of the Nativity every hour after noon yesterday.

A procession left Jerusalem for Bethlehem, where the miracle of the birth of Christ was re-enacted at midnight.
