World Air Speed (7.30 p.m. I LONDON, Dec. 4. It is officially announced that the Federation of Aeronautique International has confirmed the Gloster Meteor’s speed in the record flight at Herne Bay as GOO miles an hour or 975.675 kilometres an hour.
