WOODBURY

Domain Board Mr G. Keen presided over the October meeting of the Woodbury Domain Board. Also present were: Messrs G. Cain. H. Wooding, M. S. Barker and A. E. Webb. In the recent gale minor damage was done to the hall roof and thousands of feet of millable timber had been levelled. It was decided to call for tenders for the milling of suitable trees, and the cording of the rest for firewood. It was agreed that trees be cleared from the cemetery entrance and that damage to the shed be repaired as funds became available. Personal The Presbyterian Ladies’ Guild entertained Miss Roma Cooling, whose marriage will take place in the near future, and made her a presentation. Mrs Flatman spoke of the guest’s good work on behalf of the Guild and wished her future happiness.
