FAIRLIE FEDERATED FARMERS

Branches Formed There was an attendance of 29 at a meeting held at Lake Tekapo on Tuesday. Mr G. H. Grigg addressed the meeting on the aims and objects of the Federated Farmers, after which all present unanimously decided that a branch be formed at Lake Tekapo. It was hoped that the membership n. the Mackenzie would be 100 per cent. Mr C. A. Parker was elected chairman Mr B. N. Murray secretary, and with Mr Jas. Innes delegates to the Provincial Council.

Mr T. B. Crampton presided at a meeting held in Aorangi Hall on Tuesday, which was addressed by Messrs Grigg and W. H. Orbell. It was unanimously agreed that a branch be formed at Fairlie. Mr T. B. Crampton was elected as chairman. Mr A. J. Agnew vice-chairman, Mr J. A. Fraser secretary and treasurer and Messrs T. M. Harvey and J. F. Sandall as delegates.
