Jump From Empire State Building NEW YORK. August 17. An unidentified man this afternoon jumped 1050 feet to death from the 86th floor of the Empire State Building. A Canadian soldier saw the hurtling body and warned pedestrians, who scattered to safety. The Army bomber’s crash in the Empire State Building on July 25 was due to unfavourable flying conditions and also the misjudgment of the pilot, ground personnel of the War Department declared after investigating the incident. ___________
