MUNITIONS DUMPED
Surplus In Italy (7.30 p.m.) LONDON. Aug. 17. More than 100,000 tons of ammunition will be loaded into ships at Italian ports, taken to sea and dumped overboard in the next two months, says the Rome correspondent of “The Times.” This represents a small part of surplus American military stores remaining in Italy after 1,000.000 were shipped to the Pacific.
