FIRST DAY: 9 a.m.—Bells will be Rung and Sirens Sounded after which the Band will Parade Through Town. 2 p.m.—Children’s Sports in Domain, refreshments provided. 7 p.m.—Combined Church Service in Presbyterian Church. 8.30 p.m—Grand Peace Celebration Dance in Drill Hall. SECOND DAY: 1 p.m.—Procession from Dyson Street to Domain. Prizes for Children's Fancy Dress and Decorated Vehicles. Maori representatives and adults in fancy dress and decorated vehicles to participate. l.io p.m.—Procession move off the Band Rotunda. 2 p.m.—Judging of Costumes and Decorated Vehicles. 2.30 p.m.—ltems by Maori Concert Party. 3 p.m.—Short Speeches from Rotunda by Representative Speakers. 4 p.m.—Band Music and Marching Display by Pipe Band. 7.30 p.m.—Torchlight and Fancy Dress Procession to Domain. Bonfire and Display by Fire Brigade. Community Sing. If Peace declared before Mid-day the Children's Sports will be held that Afternoon and the Ball in the Evening.
