CANNINGTON

Euchre Parly I An enjoyable evening was spent at i the fortnightly euchre party run by the Cannington W.D.F.U. The prize winners were: Mrs McKerchar, Mr J. G. Campbell, Miss D. Lamb and Mr D. | Guthrie. Music for dancing was supplied by Miss G. Blackmore. Mrs Squire and Mr T. Scannell. Mr R. McKenzie was M.C. Women’s Division There was a good attendance at the monthly meeting of the Canningtoii W.D.F.U. Mrs Squire presided. Red Cross sewing was handed out to members. Miss Howell gave a talk on rehabilitation. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mrs W. Howell and Mrs I. Scott. The monthly competitions resulted: Premier bloom. Mrs Squire: stays. Mrs Squire 1. Miss M. Campbell 2; specimen vegetable, Mrs I. Scott; preserved fruit. Mrs W Howell 1. Mrs Squire 2.
