BLLECLIFFS

Hare Drive | Tn spite of the snow there was a good attendance of sportsmen al. Drinnon's Bridge last Saturday, when 45 guns took part in a hare drive up the riverbed. A hot lunch which had been prepared by some of the local women was much appreciated by the men who had trudged through the snow. The purpose of the drive was to augment the funds of the local patriotic committee. The i score at the end of the day’s drive was , 120. Euchre Evening ’ At the fortnightly euchre evenings in the Bluecliffs Hall there was a good attendance. The prizes, given by Mr T. Vincent, were won by Mrs Underhill and Mr L. Ward. Music for the dancing was provided by Mrs G. Morris I and Mr E. Smart. The M.C.'s were Mr I Smart and Mr Morris.
