SHIPPING PORT OF TIMARU
Coastal Trade WHARVES IDLE TO-DAY There will be no coastal shipping in port to-day and none is expected until Sunday when the Wainui .is due. EXPECTED ARRIVALS Wainui, Oamaru .. .. .. .. April 29 Gale, Lyttelton May 1 Korowai, Lyttelton May 4 Waiana, Oamaru Early PROJECTED DEPARTURES Wainui, Wellington April 29 Gale, Wanganui May 2 Korowai, Auckland May 6 Waiana, Auckland Early NOTES The Wainui is scheduled for early return from Dunedin and Oamaru. Here she will load Wellington, Napier and Gisborne cargo about Sunday. Leaving Dunedin to-morrow the Waiana will call at Oamaru before reaching here next week. From Timaru she will take Auckland consignments. The Gale is expected back here next Tuesday to take Wanganui consignments. She will sail direct the following day. A coastal vessel which has not visited this port for some years, the Korowai, is due here next week. She is scheduled to leave Auckland to-day for Lyttelton, thence Timaru, arriving here about next Friday. She is expected to clear her Auckland consignments on May 6.
