Welcome Home Social A welcome home was extended to Corporal H. Rice, who has been in Egypt and Italy for more than three years, during which he suffered severe wounds. The function took place in the Woodbury Hall. Mr C. Cain, chairman of the committee, extended a welcome. Mr H. Cooling spoke on behalf of the R.S.A. He expressed pleasure at Corporal Rice's safe return, and wished him happiness in the future. Mrs Rice was presented with a gift from the residents of Woodbury in honour of her marriage, and Mrs Cain presented her with a posy. Mr Cain presented Cornoral Rice with a clock on behalf of the Rifle Club, The remainder of the evening was spent in dancing.
