Counter-offensives By Chinese (Rec. 7.30 p.m.) CHUNGKING, April 15. In a swift seven-mile advance the Chinese reached Sinangyang, an important river port 30 miles south-east of Laokohow. The Chinese counter-offensive continues unchecked in Northern Hupeh and South-western Honan Provinces, while other units reached the gates of Suichwan, which is expected to fall soon.
