MT. NESSING

Harvest Weather

Ideal weather has prevailed over the last few days and farmers have been enabled to proceed with shearing, haymaking and the sowing of rape and turnips. There are still a number of sheep to be shorn, but if the weather continues warm, most of the shearing should be completed by the end of the week. Personal Mr and Mrs Jas. Logan, who were the guests of Mrs M. Simpson, “Ranui,” have returned to Nelson. Mrs C. F. Maitland and her children have returned to Timaru after a visit to Mrs A. P. Kelland, “Dalzell”. Mr and Mrs Albert Smith, who were the guests of Mrs T. L. Smith, “Gala Braes," have returned to Timaru.
