WAR GUILT AND PEACE
Sir, —There is a suspicion that the humility of “Dialego,” as previously claimed, is more than a little Uriah Heepish. Actually your correspondent fancies himself qualified to judge the Allies in their views on war war guilt with incidental punishment. However, the mere fact that “Dialego” has already signified a line-up with the “queer birds” clarifies the position. The extremist is invariably confused in his arguments, and so it is with “Dialego”. Although he is definitely not satisfied with the attitude of our propaganda experts concerning the proposed treatment of the war guilty (that a pacifist should so declare himself is somewhat off the beaten track) he offers no suggestions for improvement. As usual, ‘‘Dialego's" expressions are just magnified reflections of unconstructive thought.—l am, etc., R. W. ANDERSON.
