McKENZIE has been appointed Registrar of Dogs and Tax Collector over the whole of the Waimate County for the year ending December 31, 1945, and the residence of the Collector, corner of Parsonage Road and Exeter Street, Waimate, has been duly appointed the Registration Office at which dogs may be registered. The following fees are fixed for the current year: Each Dogs kept solely for destroying rabbits (3 and over) 2/6 Dogs (not exceeding 3) kept by any shepherd, drover or farmer
solely for the purpose of herding or driving sheep or cattle 2/6 All other dogs 5/As required by the “Dog Registration Amendment Act, 1937,” and the Prevention of Hydatid Disease Regulations, 1938, an additional fee of 1/- is to be paid for each dog registered, for which a supply of the approved remedy will be issued.
