TIMARU TECHNICAL COLLEGE

Lack Of Accommodation

Recently the Mayor (Mr A. E. S. Hanan) wrote to the Minister of Education (thb Hon. H. G. R, Mason) drawing his attention to the need for additional accommodation at the Timaru Technical College. In a reply received yesterday, Mr Mason states: “I am aware of the fact that more and better accommodation is desirable at the school, and consideration is now being given to the best method of providing it. I am awaiting a report from the Education Department's architect, who will visit Timaru early in 1945 for the purpose of reporting on the best means of utilisation of the site, which I agree is a suitable one for the Technical College."
