The spokesman for the American airline companies announced that the industry had formulated a post-war programme designed to utilise virtually all Government-owned transport planes. The programme calls for airlines to lease transport planes from the Government. If the lease is broken new planes must be bought from American manufacturers. Foreign airlines should be allowed to participate in the arrangement under the same conditions. Post Relinquished Admiral o' tin- Fleet Sir Howard Kellv, is ri I monishing the post of personal representative of the Com-mander-in-Chief in the Mediterranean with the Turkish Fleet and will shortly proceed to London, says an Ankara message.
