SCOTTISH SOCIETY
The Scottish Society’s monthly concert was enjoyed by a large audience. Chief E. A. Wright presided. The concert programme was as follows: Songs, Misses Kathleen Connolly, Gwen Griffiths, Alice Donaldson, Noreen Cotter and Hooper; selection, Timaru Municipal Junior Band; cornet solo, Lieut. W. H. Osborne; instrumental duet, Bandsmen W. Leslie and T. Taylor; national dances, Margaret Latimer, Fay Hedlev, Audrey and Gladys Nutsford, Shona Newitt, Betty Keenan, Valmai Phillips; instrumental quartette, Miss Fraser, Miss Casey Jack Scott and Mrs Pooke; violin solo’ Grace Pooke; instrument! item. Messrs W. R. Morrison and E. Poulston; tap duo, Edith Rickardt and Audrey Mackay.
