Tekapo Rabbit Board On Friday Mr W. H. Bennett, who recently returned after nearlj’ four years’ service overseas, resumed his post as inspector for the Tekapo Rabbit Board. During his absence Mr Bennett had been relieved by Messrs J. Dore, A. Mackintosh and C. Mclntosh. Welcome Rain A welcome rain of nearly half an inch fell in the district during Thursday night. Although more is required, the fall benefited root crops. The weather was unsettled on Friday and indications were that further rain might fall.
