Wellington Meeting Subdued and John Gay Put Up Track Records (N.Z.P.A.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 15. The Wellington Racing Club's summer meeting opened at Trentham in fine weather. The track was in good order and fast. There was a large attendance and the totalisator staff handled £195,032, compared with £146,080 on the same day last year.
