SURF COMPETITIONS
St. Clair Annexes Principal Titles (N.Z.P.A.) WELLINGTON, Jau. 16. The New Zealand Surf Life-Saving Association’s junior and women's championships were held over the week-end at Lyall Bay before large crowds in beautiful weather. Tire competitions were materially helped with the good surf running on both days. St. Clair < Otago) built up a good lead in points on Saturday, which was fully maintained to-day and it annexed the principal titles. The combined women's march past was a brilliant spectacle, Wellington women winning the championship. The South Brighton team gave a magnificent performance in winning the Dominion junior six-man rescue and resuscitation championship.
