Early Announcement (N.Z.P.A.) WELLINGTON, Jan. 15. Tire following telegram has been sent to the Leader of the Opposition (Mr S. G. Holland) by the DeputyPrime Minister (the Hon. D. G. Sullivan) replying to Mr Holland's request for an early session of Parliament : “I have received your telegram and have noted your representations urging an immediate announcement as co the date on which Parliament will meet. The Government is fully seized of the desirability of Parliament being summoned at the earliest convenient date, and an announcement will be made as soon as possible."
