SHIPPING AUTHORITY DEAD
Sir Arthur N. Hill
(R«c 10 p.m ) LONDON. Jan. 8. The death has occurred of the noted shipping authority, Sir Arthur Norman Hill, aged 80. He bad at various periods been secretary and treasurer of the Liverpool Steamship Owners' Association, manager and secretary of the Liverpool and London Steamship Protection Association, chairman of the Board of Trade Advisory Committee on Merchant Shipping, British delegate to the International Conference for the Safety of Life at Sea, chairmap of the Seamen's National Insurance Society and a member of the Committee on Industry and Trade.
