FOUND ON RAILWAY LINE
Decapitated Body Of Young Girl (N.Z.P.A.) WELLINGTON. Jan. 7. The decapitated body of Noeline Margaret Phillips, aged 16, who resided with her parents in Cuba Street, Petone. was found by the driver of a train at 3.5 a.m. to-day on the railway line between the Petone railway station and the Petone railway crossing. It is believed she was run over by a train which passed through Petone about 12.20 a.m.
