PERSONAL

Reference to the death of Mr E. D. Bust and Mr J. Moyes was made at a meeting of the executive of the Timaru Bowling Club by the president, Mr W. D. Olney. He said that both men had held office as president of the club and also of the South Canterbury Bowling Centre. In addition Mr Moyes had been secretary of the Centre for four years. Both had given freely of their time and talent for the good of the sport and their places would be hard to fill. Members stood in silence as a tribute to their memory.
