COSGRAVE PARTY

Deputy-Leader Resigns (Rec. 8.0 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 19. Mr James M. Dillon’s resignation from the Cosgrave Party in the Eire Parliament has been accepted. In a letter to Mr W. T. Cosgrave, Mr Dillon stated: “If you consider my expressed views regarding our relations with America inconsistent with my retention of the Deputy-Leadership, I had better resign.” Mr Cosgrave replied that the party could not endorse Mr Dillon’s views on how friendship with America could best be maintained.
