Award By University Shirtcliffe Fellowship (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Feb. 20. The University of New Zealand announces that the committee for the award of the Shirtcliffe Scholarships resolved that the name of P. B, De La Mare, of Victoria University College be placed first for the Shirtcliffe Fellowship. In the case of the Shirtcliffe Scholarship no award was made this year. The award of the Shirtcliffe Graduate Bursary was in favour of J. H. Holmes, of the University of Otago. The committee comprised the Gover-nor-General, Sir Hubert Ostler (acting for the Chief Justice), the Bishop of Wellington, Dr. H. G. Denham (chairman of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research) and Sir Thomas Hunter (Vice-Chancellor of the University of New Zealand).
