WIN THE WAR APPEAL

SUM OF £9 RAISED BY WOMEN WAR WORKERS A sum of £9 was raised by the 1942 “Win the War” Appeal as a result of an afternoon tea and home-made cake stall organised by the Geraldine Women's War Workers’ Guild at the Geraldine Horticultural Society’s show yesterday. The committee was led by the president (Mrs L. E. Williams) and the secretary (Mrs J. Wvn. Davison).
